This policy explains how BizPath AI (the bizpathai.com website and our iOS and Android apps) collects, uses, shares and protects your data, and how you can delete it.
1. Who we are
BizPath AI is operated by Lakay Network, the data controller for your personal data. Contact: hello@venturematchai.com or bizpathai.com/contact.
2. Data we collect
• Account: email address, display name, account ID, and the name/email provided by Google or Apple if you use those sign-in options. • Profile: questionnaire answers (skills, experience, budget, time available, country, goals). • Resume: the file you upload and the text extracted from it. • Content: generated ideas and plans, task progress, notes, expenses, tags and preferences. • Purchases: subscription tier, status, transaction IDs and period dates. We never collect card numbers — payments are processed by Apple, Google or Stripe. • Technical: IP address, device and OS type, app version, language, crash/error logs, AI request metadata, and in-app usage events (mobile, via Firebase Analytics). • Notifications: a push token if you allow notifications. We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, health data or advertising identifiers.
3. How we use it
To provide the service (account, ideas, plans, progress), process and sync subscriptions between web and mobile, send transactional emails (confirmation, ideas/plan ready) and notifications, secure the service and prevent abuse (daily AI limits), and fix bugs. We don't sell your data, don't show ads, and don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
4. AI processing
Your answers, resume text and idea details are sent to AI models (Google Gemini and OpenAI, via the Lovable AI Gateway) only to generate your content. This data is not used to train AI models. AI output can be inaccurate and is not professional advice.
5. Sharing and service providers
We share data only with providers that run the service on our behalf: • Lovable Cloud / Supabase — hosting, database, authentication, storage • Lovable AI Gateway, Google, OpenAI — AI generation • Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat — in-app purchases • Stripe — web payments • Google Firebase Analytics — mobile app usage analytics, linked to your account ID • Google / Apple Sign-In — sign-in (if you choose it) • Email delivery provider — account emails Plans you choose to share are visible to anyone with the link (plan title and content only). We may disclose data if required by law.
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently erase your account, profile, resume, ideas, plans, progress, notes and expenses within 30 days. Billing records may be kept as long as tax law requires; anonymized security logs may be kept up to 90 days.
7. Delete your account
• In the app (iOS, Android or web): Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. • Without the app: email hello@venturematchai.com (subject "Account deletion") from your account email, or use bizpathai.com/contact. We process requests within 30 days. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription — cancel it in your device's subscription settings.
8. Your rights and choices
You can view, correct, export (JSON in Settings) and delete your data at any time, turn off notifications in device settings, and unsubscribe from emails via the included link. Depending on where you live (GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA/Quebec Law 25, CCPA/CPRA), you can also request access, portability, restriction or object to processing, and complain to your data protection authority. We do not "sell" or "share" personal data for advertising.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, access is limited to your own account by row-level security rules, and payment credentials never touch your device storage. No system is perfectly secure; report issues to hello@venturematchai.com.
10. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country (including the United States), with appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Children
BizPath AI is not intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect children's data; contact us and we will delete it.
12. Cookies and local storage
We use only essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your language and theme. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. The date above will change, and material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
